Had vomiting, painful left body, shoulder pain. What does this mean?

I've had vomiting at least once a week for a month lasting between 1 and 4 days. I've had a achy pain in my left side that comes in waves. And off and on with no schedule. Yesterday I started getting an achy pain in my left shoulder that goes between nothing to very painful. Do any of these symptoms mean anything to you. YYYY@YYYY

Thanks for posting your query.
Your symptoms like vomiting and body ache suggests viral gastroenteritis. However it can be due to bacterial infections and may cause diarrhoea and fever in addition.
Viral infections do not need treatment except replacing body water and electrolytes which is achieved by taking plenty of water and Oral Hydration Solutions available over the counter.
If you are more than 50 years then you should also visit your doctor and rule out Myocardial Ischemia and subarachnoid hemorrhage (present with sever headache and muscle pains and numbness).
Hope it helps.
