Hello,

Welcome to Healthcaremagic.

Thanks for your query.
I have gone through your query and understand your concern.

There are plenty of causes for pus cells in urine
1. Kidney infection
2. Bladder infection
3. Infection in urethra
4. Inflammation due to presence of bladder stones or kidney stones
5. Immune disorders
6. Allergies or growths anywhere along the genitourinary system.

As you had the sex recently, it is most probably due to infection in your urinary tract.

Presence of pus cells in urine does not necessarily mean you have HIV.

Please follow the advise.
1. Do a urine culture and sensitivity, to find the infective organism and antibiotic sensitivity.
2. If the culture is negative, please do Ultrasound pelvis and abdomen to rule out any kidney enlargement and stones in urinary tract.
3. if the culture shows negative with plenty of pus cells, then it may be due to Tuberculosis kidney.
4.Drinking enough water and fluids will helps in expelling the pus cells out of the urinary system.
5. Drinking alkaline mixture like Citralka can give symptomatic relief from burning sensation while urinating.
6. Fluids by themselves will not eradicate the infection.
7. For treating pus cells in urine, specific antibiotics are needed.

So consult your treating physician for antibiotics and further management.

Hope this helps.
Please reply for further queries.
Wishing you good health.
