Had Unprotected Sex, Red Bumps, Slight Itch On Scrotum. Reason?

Hello, I had unprotected sex a week ago. Shortly after, my scrotum became red and although it s still red, the color has faded somewhat. Now I have small section of little red bumps that I think may be herpes simplex? I m not sure since i don t feel anything down there but perhaps a slight itch anyone would have normally. Any help would be appreciated.

HIV AIDS Specialist 's  Response
Hi
Welcome to HCM.

Your problem seems to be a ordinary skin problem rather than due to any STDs.
It could be either due to a fungal infection or a hair folliculitis. Sexually transmitted
Herpes infection is uncommon over scrotal skin.
Consult a Dermatologist and he will rule out the possibilities of STD/HIV by examination and investigations and treat you with appropriate medicines.
