Had Unprotected Sex On The Last Day Of The Period. Took Plan B. No Periods. Pregnant?

February 28th was my last day of my period and i had unprotected sex and the morning after i took plan b and about five days later i started bleeding again. I went to the doctor March 16th to check everything and I took a pregnancy test it was negative. I have not had a period since, I took a pregnancy test about three days ago and it was negative. Am i pregnant? What is wrong

Hi,
Thanks for your query.
Chances of pregnancy have always been there with unprotected sex,but in your case it is less because you took emergency contraceptive pills.
The pills contain hormones so they may change your menstrual cycle either there is excessive bleeding or there is no period.
You should consult a gynecologist for your urine, blood test and ultrasonography to rule out pregnancy.
