Had unprotected sex, missed periods with pregnancy symptoms, UPT negative, was on birth control before. Chances of pregnancy?

Hi there I am an 18 year old Female. I came off the pill on the 18th of February (last pill period was the 12th of feb) and have had unprotected sex since. It is now the 18th of march and my period has not shown. I am having negative home pregnancy tests . I have very sore nipples , I am nauseous, tired, cranky and most foods make me feel sick. Could I be pregnant despite the negative tests?

Thank you for your query.
If you are having negative home urine pregnancy test result, you are mostly not pregnant, as these tests are 97 % reliable.
Birth control pills are hormonal pills, which you have been consuming, and after stopping them the body needs time to adjust to the newer hormonal levels.
the symptoms you are describing could be due to this effect.
Also, you might be pre menstrual and having PMS which also manifests this way.
your body needs 3 - 6 months to normalize and adjust to the newer hormonal levels.
Meanwhile, you can consult a gynecologist to confirm that this is indeed so.
take care.
