Had Unprotected Sex. Getting Blood In Urine. Urine Test Shows High Protein. Could This Be Std?

Hello, about three weeks ago i had unprotected sex with a new partner. the following morning a had blood in my urine which lasted about five days then cleared up. I had no other symtoms. the doctor tested my urine for an infection which was negative. I have had my urine tested again showing no blood but high protein , could this be a sign of an std? the doctor has recommended i have a ct scan on my kidneys.

Nephrologist 's  Response
Hi,
High protein in the urine needs evaluation.
A complete urine analysis,
Ultrasound
24hr urine protein
and depending on these, a kidney biopsy..
Get in touch with a nephrologist.
Regards
