Had Unprotected Sex. Delayed Period. Light Cramping, No Bleeding. Am I Pregnant?

Hi, I had unprotected sex and am now 6 days late for my period. I am never late for a period. If anything I'm early. My period runs on a 28-29 day cycle and I document it. For the last 5 days I had light cramping but no bleeding. Today I have no cramping but some light bleeding. I haven't taken a HPT because I was waiting for one week after my missed period. Am I having a miscarriage or is it my period.

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The light cramping and the mild bleeding that you are having could be due to an impending period, an early miscarriage or a hormonal imbalance. A few blood tests will help in confirmation.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you. You can consult me again directly through my profile URL http://bit.ly/Dr-Rakhi-Tayal
