Hello and welcome to HCM,
A variation in duration and amount of menstrual blood flow is seen in normal menstrual cycles.
A normal menstrual cycle can be as short as 20 days and as long as 35 days.
The amount of menstrual flow is also variable.
It can be scant brown discharge only occasionally.
The ovulation is also associated with mild to moderate abdominal pain
and brown colored discharge.
So. there is nothing to worry.
You can observe your cycles for few more months.
If the irregularity continues or the flow remains abnormal, you can consult your gynecologist for clinical examination, appropriate investigations and thus management.Hormonal
imbalance is the most common cause of menstrual disturbances.
Thanks and take care
