Had ulcerative colitis. What does ulster in the ileum resection mean and its severity?

Hello, I have been told I have an ulster in the ilium section of my colon I have to meet my doctor in 4 weeks but was wondering if I could get a better understanding of what this is. I also have been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis 5 + years ago. What is it and the severity of it is what I would like to know. Thanks for your time
