Had Painful Sore Throat. Have Flesh Colored Bumps On Soft Palate. Cure?

Hi,

So I first got a sore throat after I went to a music festival, it was cold at night and a lot of people were smoking (I don't smoke). I went two nights in a row. So my sore throat started hurting a lot about 2 days after and then I noticed many tiny flesh colored bumps on my soft palate that are kind of itchy and a little bit of redness in my throat. My sore throat went away after about 2 days, then I got really congested and developed a cough. Both the congestion and cough are almost gone, but the tiny bumps are still present and they itch a little.

Hi

It seems that you got affected by pharyngitis, which may have been viral or streptococcal. If it is viral it will go away on its own. You may try mouthwash like listerine to take care of oral hygiene. If it does not go away, then see a doctor to rule out a bacterial infection for which you may need antibiotics.
