Had Loose Motions, Took Eldopar And Coconut Water. Given Injection Of Taxim And Perinam With Sporlac And Rantac

hello
I am suffering from loose motions from 4 days twice in day and 4 times in night
took eldopar, electrol, coconut water, ors
nothing working out
I had been to a health clinic they gave an injection of combined taxim 1g and perinam 2cc iv
and gave tablets of sporlac, rantac, meffalpas
I want to know if taxim injection is given to cure loosemotion, and just want to make sure if the above oral tablets are ok

Thanks for posting your query on this website. I can fully appreciate your concern for problem.

Your diarrhea seems to be infective. However, no suitable anti-microbials were given to you in the initial stages. Inj Taxim does not have anti-diarrhoeal effect.

I suggest that you take the following medicines immediately:-

1. Tab Tiniba (500mg) 2 tablets twice daily for 5 days.
2. Tab Albend 400mg one tablet on alternate days - total 3 tablets (to be chewed and then swallowed with water).
3. Plenty of water (8-10 glasses/day)

You will become all right with the prescribed treatment.
