Had Liposuction, Developed Seroma On Outer Thighs, Tummy. How To Reduce Size Of Seroma?
Hi, I had a complete liposuction 7 weeks ago. I have developed a Seroma on my outer thighs (right side) as well as on my tummy. When can I do to help reduce the size of the seroma? I had surgery abroad, so I can't go back to see my surgeon, can any GP drain it? does massage help at all? and does going to the gym and doing high internsity cardio excercise affect the Seroma?

Hello dear,
Seroma is a pocket of clear serous fluid, the treatment of which depends on the size & volume of fluid present in it.
If the size is big with large volume, then messaging will not be of much help in reducing the size.
It can be drained under strict aseptic procedure by a surgeon followed by application of pressure bandage.
There is no need to worry, you will be fine.
