Had Implantation Bleeding, Not Pregnant. Is It Related To Stress?

I am suppose to have my period in 2-7 Days . (I have had my period for 6 years and it still changes quite often)
2 weeks ago I was having symptoms of what appeared to be implantation bleeding but I am NOT pregnant. I haven't had sex since the beginning of September and I have had my period since then and have NO signs of pregnancy.
But I was having this brown and for two days kind of red discharge which I Thought was odd since my period was two weeks away. This lasted for a week or so. And this past week my discharge is back to white and barely none at all with my period about to start.
I am just wondering was I really having implantation bleeding.... or was my uterus just "cleaning" its self out later than usual after my last period?
I am really confused with my body and stressed.

Since you didnt have intercourse since September there is no question of implantation and pregnancy. You could have had anovulatory cycle which means no release of egg in this month and decreases production of hormone progesterone .This leads to oestrogen withdrawal bleeding which occurs before the expected date of menses.Amaemia also causes irregular bleeding. As you mentioned it could be stress related. If it occurs in next few cycles get Hb , S. Progesterone on Day 21 of menstrual cycle. If levels are less- Anaemia requires C Orofer XT - One daily before meal for 3 months;Low Progesterone is treated with T Modus 10mg at bedtime from Day 15-25 of menstrual cycle for 6 months.Meditation and breathing exercise will reduce stress related ailment.Hope this advice will help you.Take care.
