Hi,
Having persistent and severe pain in the absence of Implanon points to some other organic cause; the spasms associated with the implant are temporary and do not persist. You may be experiencing colicky pain related to gastrointestinal system or renal system. Please consult your physician for a complete evaluation and further management, immediately. You may take anti-spasmodic for relief meanwhile. Wish you good health.
