Had Hysterectomy. Having Abdominal Pain. Pains Before Passing Gas. Having Light Fever. Suggestions?
I had a hysterectomy on feb 28 and started having abdominal pain 4 days ago that has worsened. It feels like I have to pass gas, but nothing. Some pains are so harsh I have to grab a hold off something til it passes. I had a CT scan today, but results won t be in til tomorrow. I have also run a fever between 99.3 and 100.1. Should I wait or go to ER?
With the symptoms you have mentioned, it is quite possible that you have an infection. CT Scan abdomen will help to give much clearer idea. Abdominal pain you are experiencing seems to be colic, coming from small bowel.
Have you got any vomiting or diarrhoea?
Have you tried any medications for pain?
Is the wound alright from hysterectomy?
I would suggest to get checked over in ER.
