Had Heart Cath Done Radially. Have Swelling And Pain. Pain Medication Not Helping. Solution?

I had a heart cath done radially about 3 weeks ago. There is no redness.. but some swelling, and extreme pain from near the site up to my elbow. The heart cath came back fine with no blockages. It is extremely painful to the touch. Even taking pain meds such as Norco combined with paracetamol are not touching the pain. Hot packs do seem to ease the pain but not eradicate it. Any ideas? is it possible to fx a wrist during this procedure?
