Had Heart Attack And Undergone Angioplasty, On Medication. Have Got High BP. All Test Normal. Any Danger?
Hello, Sir. i am 36 yr old . i had got heart attack and undergone angioplasty 5 yrs back and on medication since 5 yrs. recently , i met with small accidents during tretament i came to know that i have got high BP. I got tested some tests likeECG, TSH, urine and blood tests . all are within range. My weigth is 95kg and height is 5"11. I smoke almost everyday(1-2) and drink twice a week. i am worried whether i am in trouble ? Please help me out

I would suggest you to get blood lipid profile done every 6 months and an echocardiography annually.
Please take your aspirin and other medications as prescribed by your doctor regularly.
You have not mentioned any physical fitness in your daily routine. Please discuss with your doctor and take daily short walks as per your stamina.

You are obese (BMI =29), Hypertensive (raised blood pressure) and smoke. These three are very important risk factors for Coronary Artery Disease (Heart Attack). As you have already had suffered a heart attack and have undergone angioplasty, therefore having not controlled your risk factors (BP, Smoking, Obesity, Alcohol) you are likely to suffer another Attack and these high blood pressure and smoking can also cause thrombosis in your coronary stent (Blockage of stent with clot).
