Had food poisoning. Bloated stomach, Diarrhea, shivers, cramps. Recommendations?

I've had food poisioning for over a week and slowly I've felt much better. But I'm left with a swollen stomach which is sore bloated and feels like I have a pit in my stomache . When I say pit like a tingling feeling as if someone was nervous. My food poising at its height was pretty bad no nausea just constant diarreah shivers and cramps which has been gone for the last 3-4 days. What do you recommend and is it normal i should still be left with these symptoms? Many thanks Ashley

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Since , diarrhea stopped and there are cramps, nausea, shivers.
All these are after effects of loose motions as many important minerals expels from loose motions.
There develops gastritis in stomach so patient feels nausea.
The best remedy is rest and plenty of liquid in different forms, e.g. small quantity of fluid many times in day.
Lemon juice mixed with salt and sugar, juice .
Lemon juice sometimes develops gastritis so you may use some antacid ( OT C) .
Within 3-4 days sufficient to recover.
If you can't wait for that period, than get in intravenous drip of RINGER lactate & elecrolytes , after consultation with a doctor.
Good luck.
