Had Endoscopy Due To Bleeding Ulcers, Having Cough. Is It Common With Endoscopy? What To Do?

My husband has has 2 endoscopies back to back because of bleeding uclers, now he has a cough . I have heard that that is common with endoscopies...it has been going on for about a month now. what can we do about it?

Cough can occur during endoscopy.
But cough does not occur after endoscopy and last for one month.
For cough persistent for more than a month, chest xray should be taken.
Further evaluation depends on the xray findings.
If xray is normal, then it can be due to allergy or gastroesophageal reflux disease.
