Had Endoscopy. Diagnosed With Irritation And Inflammation. Constant Lower Belly Pain, After Eating Pain Subsides For A While. Is It Peptic Ulcer?
I had an endoscopy a few months ago and was diagnosed with irritation and inflammation. Having cardionyopathy the GI doctor reduced but did not stop my aspirin dose. My problem is this...after having lifted over 500 pounds of sandbags at work a month ago I have constant low (below the belly button centered pain. Its odd in that when I flex my ab muscles and press I have surface tenderness however after I eat a meal the pain subsides for a while. Could I have torn muscles and a peptic ulcer that my be infected,,?
Welcome to HCM.You appear to be having non-specific gastriitis rather than peptic ulcer. The lower belly pain could be secondary to musculoskeletal strain/partial muscle tear or tendon strain. It would be best to follow the treatment recommended by your doctor.A check up to rule out any herniation or muscle damage would help.
