Had Eczema And Cradle Cap, Swollen Lymph Nodes, Had Runny Tummy. What Can Be Done?
Hi Dr, my five month old has eczema and cradle cap for last 2.5 months. She had small swollen lymph nodes on both sides of her neck and back of her head for 2.5 months as well. Today she seems to have another node swallen on her left side of waiste. She had runny tummy for last 4 days ( once a day runny tummy). What should I do? Thanks
Most eczema is an internal issue that expresses on the skin. The lymph nodes can be swollen due to reacting to an infection, environmental stimulus, or food. I would start with a hypoallergenic diet: avoiding dairy, soy, gluten grains, potato, eggs, processed foods, fruit juices, and table sugar. Castor oil topically to her belly and oral probiotics.
