Had Dehydration, Fainted And Hit Head. Weak And Tired. Pressure Behind Eyes. Healing Time?

I'm in Thailand, but from the US. I had dehyration and fainted 6 days ago. I hit my head very hard. I did not have symptoms of a concussion, so I didn't go to hospital. I have been weak and tired while recovering from the dehydration and heat exhaustion. Now, my only symptom is pressure behind my eyes and tiredness, no headache. I'm wondering if this is normal healing. And how long until I feel better?

discomfort around the eyes and feeling of pressure behind the eyes can be a normal symptom when you are generally unwell and feeling very weak. If you do not have any visual disturbance like decreased vision or distortion of vision then i think that you need not go to an eye specialist as an emergency however it is always a good idea to get a routine detailed eye examination done at least once a year even if the eyes a apparently normal.
I expect that as your dehydration settles down and you start feeling more energetic, your eyes should also feel better. If you are not already better by 48 hours, you must at least consult a general physician as it may indicate something more than just dehydration.
TC, warm regards
ajit.
