Had Blood Test. Have Lump And Red Spots On Arm. Arm Is Sore. Reason?

Hello I went today to get a blood test a my womans health doctor. When the nurse stuck the needle in it made my hand feel as if he has stuck another needle in it she said it was normal and that she is right by a nerve. Hours later at home I felt my arm getting little more sore and then now I have a lump on my forearm and little red spots on my arm. What could this be from? Am I allergic to something?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,
It seems that you have developed phlebitis.
Phlebitis is aninflammation of vein. In your case, the cause may be needle.
Thickening of the vein wall occurs. . Erythema and pain may be there.
It is benign condition and has favourable prognosis.
Take short course of antibiotics and anti inflammatory drugs.
Take vitamin C tablet.
Apply thrombophob oint.
I hope you will recover in 3 to 4 weeks.
