Had Blood Spots After Pee, Burning Sensation, Frequent Urinating Urge. Did Urinoanalysis. Diagnosed UTI. Took Nitrofurantoin

I had little blood spots in wipe after pee. I had same problem couple of weeks ago and went to Doc. They did urinoanalysis and said I have UTI and gave me nitrofurantoin for a week. But today exactly 6 days after I finished the medicine, I had burning sensation and frequent urinating urge and blood spots in wipe. So what it could be?

Welcome to HCM.
Go for urine analysis again to confirm the recovery and rbcs in urine.
If infection is there that means it is not recovered by nitrofurantoin so you have to take complete course of better antibiotic like cefixime, moxifloxacin.
Intra muscular injection of gentamycin or amikacin is advisable.
Red cell in urine indicates some passage of stone in the urinary system, confirm it by ultra sound.
Drink more water and other liquids consciously. Also rule out diabetes.
Keep in touch with your doctor for further medication.
