Had Bloating And Frequent Urination. What Is The Meaning Of Thickened Lining Of Uterus?

my 80 year old mother was having to urinate often and bloating symptoms... thought it was urinary tract but they did ultrsound and said she had thick lining of uturus and some palps or growths on her uturus... she went in today and doc tried to get biopsy but couldnt get one. now she is going in monday to outpatient surgery to get biopsy. I am worried about what it could be?

The biopsy should be able to guide the doc, regarding the next line of approach regarding the uterine problem.
If urination continues, she needs urine analysis and culture test and proceed from there.
