Had acute bronchitis. Given prednisone. Is it safe to take?

Hello my question is in January i was at the green bay emergency for acute bronchitis and the staff there gave me PREDNISONE to take for 5 days. Now in March 5th, i went to see my family doctor and he gave me the same medication for 5 days, but i forgot to tell him i took that medication in January. My question is is it safe to take them again in March.
