Had Abortion. Taking Aloes Compound And Leptaden During 1st And 2nd Half Of Periods. Right Intake Of Medication?

I have been taking Aloes Compound during 1st half of menstrual cycle and Leptaden during 2nd half of menstrual cycle and had an abortion due to excess travel. But the literature of the medicine says that Leptaden should be taken throughout full pregnancy. (once menstrual cycle is missed an pregnancy is confirmed ) to avoid abortions as Prophylaxis and Primigravida. Is it correct. Pls. advise. With thanks

Hi

As far as leptaden is concerned it is prescribed to increase breast milk production in lactating mothers. There is not enough research to support taking leptaden during pregnancy. I will not suggest taking a medicine during pregnancy which has not been studied well in researches. Medicines can have known and unknown side-effects and can have adverse effects on fetus.
