Had A Uti Infection Treated With Doxycycline, Not Recovered Fully. Permanent Cure?

I have had a uti infection was treated with , doxycycline , could not take to many side effects, then took microbid for 7 days, still the infection would not clear up, then put me on Zpack , 5 days the infection did not clear up the first culture showed as a group B Streptococcus isolated 100,000 or larger after taking zpack the culture showed 50,000-1000 cfu/ml when I went back to the doctor the not feeling much better and pain in stomach I told her I has 2 kidney stones one small and one large that my doctor in p.a. Said I must have passed all kidney tests came back fine. Yesterday she took a urine test in office and said it showed blood in urine and cloudy also LEU Est Poc. Large I can not take penicillin , aspirin ,cephalosporins, emyacin,or cipro, so now I am on Bixan 500mg for 7 days today I woke up with a tooth ache that really hurts doctor said to call if I was not better by to call if symptoms are not better in 48-72 hrs also ordered ultra sound of bladder and kidneys, took first one pill of Bixan today so many med allergies hope I don t have a reaction, have MVP,IBS, Diverticulosis, osteoporosis , and diabetes type 2 but control it with diet, had kidney infection body wide infection sepisis in 1999, and almost died from gallbladder surgery allergic to Anastasia and could not pass urine for three days , my urologist took care of me in hospital for five days, I m sorry this is so long but just wanted you to know my medical history, I am a 70 year old widow that lives alone, thank you

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
If I were your treating doctor for this case of urinary infection , I would come up with these measures and tests before evaluation of any diagnosis.
As you are allergic to many drugs with so many surgeries , still there is streptococcus present with blood in urine and history of infection, may be due to .
1 Chronic renal failure , diagnosis can be confirmed by examination of serum creatinine level with blood urea.As all mentioned symptoms are an indication of chronic renal failure .
2 Urine culture with drug sensitivity test is important as so many drugs will develops resistance .
3 Ultrasound of kidney is important along M R I ,because we will find out the depth of kidney damage.
In my opinion don't waste time and at once consult an urologist and get his opinion.
