Had A Tubal Ligation. Have Missed Periods. Did Scan, HCG, All Negative. Took Deviry. Still No Periods. Suggestions?

I am 43 years and have had a tubal ligation about 7 years back. I have missed my periods . I have done a scan and Beta HCG, to rule out pregnancy. All are negative. Have taken deviry 30 mg daily for 5 days. Today is the 10th day after this, still no periods. Scan is normal and shows 6 mm thick endometrium.

What follow up do I need?

hi,
It looks like your hormonal levels are disturbed and so, the ovaries are not responding to a kick-back. It could be a normal feature if you have entered the perimenopausal stage. Having ruled out pregnancy in every possible way, the only cause seems to be decreased hormones which you can get assessed and take proper suggestions from your consultant. Hope you find this information useful. Take care.
