Had A Miscarriage. Have Bleeding, Cramps, Lower Back And Abdominal Pain, Frequent Urination. Pregnancy?

Hello. I had a miscarriage a werk ago. Yesterday the bleeding and cramping increased and I started experiencing pain in both my lower back as well as my right abdomen. I expected to still feel quite tired, be urinating frequently, have tender breasts and the emotional ups and downs but not this. What do you think this is and should I be seen sooner than my follow up (scheduled for May 30th)? P.s. I have a 2"ovarian cyst on left side, assuming due to the pregnancy

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

Never asssume anything. She may think that she miscarried, but it is possible that the miscarriage is 'incomplete' OR that the pregnancy is still present OR that the pregnancy was never actually in the uterus (called an ectopic pregnancy). She needs immediate evaluation that should include:
1. Serial HCG levels
2. A followup ultrasound
