Hello and welcome to health care magic. Thanks for your query.

As per your history you hurt your chest following which you are experiencing pain on deep inspiration, coughing and sneezing, these are the alarming signs which you can not ignore. So i would suggest you to seek medical help as early as possible.

you may require a chest -x ray to look for any fractures in the ribs/ sternum, along with that - is there any pneumothorax ( air leak from the lungs ) which could be sometimes fatal if ignored.

Wish you all the best

hello, welcome to HCM
as per the details u have submitted,
direct hiiting of ur chest to hard surface leads to mild contusion and soreness.. but becoz its a rib cage , due to the movements of the lungs inside the rib cage you will experience pain advise you take rest and avoiding physical activities that icreases your respiration and lifting weights.
And u use pain killers like zerodol-sp once daily ...nothing to worry much about it...
if u have any further pain a digital X-ray of chest

hope this will help u
