Hi, I had a c section 2 weeks back. I used a canestan pessary (vag application) last night. I felt very uncomfortable afterwards and felt like the thrush got worse almost immediately. It was very very sore extnwlly and in felt like since application I had trapped wind. My lochlea is now much heavier after breastfeeding than ususl, alarmingly so. I this just pure coincidence? Thanks

Since the infection has increased, it is best to consult your gynecologist and get oral antifungal medicines prescribed for complete treatment. Only topical treatment will not help.
