Had A Breast Lumpectomy Surgery, Causing A Severe Headache And Lump In Head, Later A Patch Fell Out Of Head. Suggestion?

My Daughter age 44 went in for a 7 hour surgery for a Breast Lumpectomy and reduction breast surgery . When she came out of surgery, never complained about the actual surgery hurting but she had a terrible headache . She felt the back of her head and their was a large swollen lump with pain. Three weeks later - she washed her hair yesterday and a patch larger than a quarter fell out of her head, smooth as a baby s but. We still don t know how she got the bump during surgery - noone seems to know

Hi
Thank for choosing HCM, Is she has history of headache, prior to surgery, did she notice such swelling over her head, if not then the chances of local trauma is likely, which required further investigation, have discus with the surgical team, inform them about the condition, they will be the final judge, Have nice day.
