Habit of smoking only while drinking, has symptoms of sore throat, fever and mucus. Cause for the symptom?

Hi, I am a 33 year old male. I know this may be clique, but I only smoke when I drink. The problem is, when I drink I tend to smoke quite a bit. I just got back from a bachelor party that involved quite a bit of drinking/ smoking for 3 day. Four days later I find myself with the following symptoms; a sore throat with mucus build up, a fever and the chills last night, achy all over (esp. joints), unexplainable bruises all over my legs and pain in my neck. Could this be the start of something serious? Do I need to get checked out or are these the symptoms of the flu . I worry that it is not the flu as I did get a shot this year. Any help is appreciated. Thx!
