Hi Mohammed Abdel Monem, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
How old are you? When were you Diagnosed with Hepatitis B Infection? The value of HBsAg in your serum does not rule out the continuation of medicines, you may want to continue taking Zeffix (LAMIVUDINE) as directed by your Doctor and go for regular follow up. Monitoring of serum HBsAg concentrations in your Serum in addition to HBV DNA quantification will be helpful in evaluation of the response to lamivudine treatment and diagnosis of the hepatitis. Do not stop taking any medicine without the Permission of your Doctor. Drink plenty of fluids and get adequate rest. Eat healthy nutritious balanced diet which should include fresh fruits and green leafy veggies.

Wish you Good Health, Take Care.

hello,
you have to recheck your liver function parameters and constant follow up by youd doctor.
Zeffix reduces the amount of hepatitis B virus in your body, and keeps the liver disease under control, therefore reducing health problems relating to your liver in the future. For effective treatment you will need to take Zeffix every day. Patients respond to the treatment differently, therefore it is not known for how long you will have to take this medicine.
Your doctor will be checking your response to treatment by taking regular blood samples. The results of these tests will help your doctor to decide when your treatment with Zeffix can be stopped.
Do not stop taking Zeffix without instruction from your doctor, as there is a small chance of your hepatitis getting worse. When you stop taking Zeffix your doctor will monitor you for at least the following 4 months to check for any problems. This will mean taking blood samples to check for any abnormal liver enzymes, indicating liver damage.
so dont stop it without consultation of your doctor who prescribed it.
take care
