I am very curious about the HCG diet. I have been almost bed ridden for the last 4 yrs. due to some medical issues and it has caused me to gain 40lbs. This past year I had brain surgery to correct a chiari malformation of my brain. I also had 2 discs in my neck fused and I had surgery because my spinal cord was tethered so it had to be fixed. I m ok now except I do have daily chronic neck pain so I am limited on the exercise I can do. I hate it because I used to exercise all of the time (I taught kickboxing classes) I was very fit. I am just trying to find a safe way to lose some of the weight I have put on. I have been eating very well and I just started swimming at the community center for some low impact exercise. But have lost very little. What do you think about the HGC diet (drops not injections) do you feel it is worth the money ? Thank for you time.
swimming is very good exercises and if you can do it then you can reduce weight by restricting you calories in diet
if you are grossly over weight take high protein diet low fat and low carbohydrate
take plenty water,vegetables,fruits
you can consult a dietitian for your diet chart

I am on the homeopath HCG diet I binged the first 2 days without taking the drops. I feel that I definitely ate my weight in fatty foods. I started the drops and the 500 cal diet today. Do I need to REload again because I didnt take the drops or will my body be able to work with what it ate the days before?
My friend has been on the HCG diet and lost 50 lbs. He feels great but he just had a series of blood tests and his PSA was 9. He is 59 and concerned about that high number. He is being tested again in two weeks but I am wondering if there s any connection between the HCG drops and an increase in PSA. Thanks.

Hello, My father is diagnosed on the basis of an MRI with the following: 1. Grade 1 retrolisthesis at L2-3 level. 2. Vertebral endplate irregularity with signal alterations at L2-3 - mostly represents degenerative spondylitis 3. Broad based herniations at L3-4 and L4-5 with mild impression on thecal sac and bilateral adjacent nerve roots. We were told that this could lead to some severe problems with bowel and bladder movement. Is it possible to find out when and how this could occur?
