HBsAg Positive. Can Any Online Doctor Help Me Read This?
Hello sir, My name is Sk. Imran Ali from West Bengal. I am 25 years old. Recently I informed that i have HBsAg positive (+). Then I visit a doctor.He told me that I am not carrier of this virus. He also told me that sometimes in adult age the symptom of the virus is detected but it's not harmed and after 3-4 months it's gone. I don't take any kind of alcohol or drugs. He told me to do some test.i.e. 1) Plasma Glucose (R) (Enzymatic) : 114 mg% 2) Serum Creatinine (Kinetic) : 1.1mg/dl 3) Bilirubin Total : 0.6mg% 4) Bilirubin Direct : 0.2mg% 5) Bilirubin Indirect : 0.4mg% 6) SGPT (Kinetic) (at 37 degree C) : 93U/L 7) Alkaline Phosphatase ( Kinetic) : 204 (for male I want to know is this report bad for me? The HBsAg can be positive after vaccination with Hepatitis B Virus. Have you any history of Hepatitis B Vaccination? In case, there is infection with HBsAg, you need to be more careful. Avoid any liver damaging drug or medication most common being alcohol. HBsAg does not necessarily cause liver disease in the long term. However, you cannot donate blood to any person because of the risk of transmission of the infection. However, if in any doubt get the test repeated.
Rest of your parameters are within normal range except for SGPT. SGPT is an enzyme which gets elevated in liver cell damege.
