Green Phlegm, Lungs Clear As A Whistle,cough
My boyfriend has been up green phlegm for 3 days now. He has been to the doctors who have told him his lungs are clear as a whistle. How long is it likely to last? Also, I have had a cough for 7 weeks now and now I think it s turning into a common cold . My cough had slightly away but now seems to be coming back. I m assuming this us just normal?

Hi, green phlegm is due to infection in respiratory track and lungs are part of it. Hope your friend is on antibiotics and expectorants. For urself, prolonged cough and cold signifies persistant infection, hope u r not taking medicines on off basis. Have full course of antibiotic after consulting your physician this will help. Wishing you speedy recovery.
