Got mild concussion, dizzy, nauseated, migraine and lack of focus. Cause ?

Hi my name is AAAA and I live in San Jose, CA. My daughter, Chelsea, plays volleyball at Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston Idaho and 4 weeks ago recently got a mild concussion. Her symptoms are dizziness, nausea, migraines and lack of focus. She continued playing for 2 weeks before going to urgent care upon the request of her school trainer, and has not been able to practice or play for the past 2 weeks. She is still experiencing most of the symptoms and is starting to freak out. She thinks there is more going on in her brain and wants to have a CT scan to rule out anything that might be going on that is keeping her from getting better. Her father and I think she still needs to give herself time to rest. This is very hard on us since we are so far away, any advice on what she should do? Thank you

You are saying that Chelsea got that mild contusion around 1 month ago, and she is still having symptoms.

At this point, CT-scan is important to evaluate her case if she really needs only rest and no hard physical activity or there is something else that needs the most appropriate treatment.

Talk to her GP to recommend the CT-scan. Meanwhile, I would advise to let her rest without playing volleyball, drink plenty of water, take acetaminophen for the pain. At bedtime, you can prepare her some chamomile tea to make her sleep relaxed.

Hope it helped!

First off im 23 years old 6 142 lbs no prior medical complications. Did have one mild concussion in 2006 when i was 17.I just played a ice hockey game was skating about 6 to 7 mph when i was trippped and fell head first into the metal post. The position i was in on contact was basiclly knees on the ground body and head paralell to the ground and the post ht my helmet on the top of the head right in the middle. Was dazed for about 3 to 4 secs got up amd kept playing. On impact head felt ight and fuzzy. The fuzzy disappeared about 3 to 4 mins later now my head just feels a little sore and tight. NO dizziness or nausea but there is acute drowsyness should i be concerned abot a mild concussion

i was hit the other day while playing hockey.. right after the hit i felt dizzy for 30 seconds. I know alot of the minor concussion symptoms are vomiting and nausea but i dont have any of those symptoms. All i have is a slight headache that is on and off. Do I have anything I should be worrying about?

Two days ago I may or may not have had a very mild concussion a few days ago. I fell hard on my back in Judo but did not hit my head. I felt slightly fuzzy after practice and that has continued, though decreasing. One of my pupils is refocusing slightly slower than the other and I have since felt slightly foggy and disconnected, with the fogginess getting better since a day or so after the incident. Recently I started feeling sinusy pressure between my eyes and having sensitivity to light and sound, with pressure directly at the top of the nose, and yesterday got a piercing headache on my eyebrow in my sinuses, which went away after sleep. I still have some sinus pressure which increases when I bend down or move a lot, but little to no pain. Are these two symptoms related and what would be your general advice. I have an appointment with my PCP on August 6th as a new patient (just got free health care).

I was having pounding headaches at the base of my head where i couldn't even look down. I never had high blood pressure before in fact it is normally low. My blood pressure is 170 over 98, I did have a fall off a chair at work a month ago so they are doing a head scan to see if it isn't a post concussion. What do you think it could be?
