Got Lower Teeth Filled. Having Pain In The Gums, Jaw. Unable To Eat, Sleep Due To Sensitivity. Solution?

I went to the dentist about a week ago to get a crown on both sides of my mouth at the top. I had 3 of my lower teeth filled in. It has been a week and yet one whole side of jaw has been aching. Also my gums are hurting as well. I can t eat on that side of my mouth or drink anything cold over there. It s stopping me from sleeping at night.

Hello there...there are two things to this...one being, pain owing to excessive material in the area of restoration (filling), if the decay is really deep enough it would cause pulpitis resulting in pain. Secondarily, senstivity could be from the region of your crowns (if you have got them)...there would have been a marginal exposure leading to sensitvity. Get your self examined on these lines...Dont worry your problem is treatable.

Dentist Dr. Gunjan Gupta's  Response
Hello,
Thanks for writing in.
I read your problem,it seems that there is any high point of filling or crown,so i will suggest you visit back to your dentist as soon as possible and get the high points examination done and get them reduced,if any?
Nothing to get worried
