Got Hit Near Side Of The Eye Temple. Swollen, Eyes Are Black, Blood Vessels Seen Inside The Eye. Fractured?

I was hit on the right side of my eye near the temple. Was tubing behind the boat when we hit a wave and was thrown up and hit that area of my eye on someones knee. It swelled to the size of a golf ball and the next morning my eye was black all over and swollen and the white part of my eye has blood in it. Do I need to go to the doc? Can it be fractured?

Hi thanks for using HCM.

The findings you are telling are the typical signs of bleeding. It may be only soft tissue injury or fracture. But there is lot of bleeding. No need to worry for your eye sight.

Do I need to go to the doc?
Yes. Visit your doctor. They may suggest for x ray or scan for complete diagnosis and plan their management. They will put you on antibiotic to prevent any infection along with pain killer.

Can it be fractured?
Yes, It can be fracture. Only examination or investigation will give its answer.
