your kid is having atopic dermatitis. the condition is self resolving in most of the patients after a few years. till then follow your dermatologists advice. there are many dos and donts that you need to follow,,i am sure you will see a lot of improvement in your child's skin

It seems like atopic dermatitis ...he needs lot of moisturizers & cleansers ..mild steroid cream to take care of the itching...avoid using too much of soaps..avoid contact with pets and dirty clothes or curtains...This usually resolves as one reaches 12 yrs of age...Consult a good dermatologist who can guide properly.
