Getting Severe Ear Pain At Night, Achy Ear, Feels Warm, Hurts To Touch

I have been getting ear pain every night if I lay on my side. I wake and can feel that my ear aches slightly and when I move off the pillow the pain becomes severe and sharp before subsiding. Its not just one side it depends what side i sleep on and my ear also feels warm. i woke up at 12 with one and it is now 12:22 and hurts a little less if i touch it

if your room gets colder as night progresses, you might get the pain or it could be due to your pinna rubbing against the pillow, hence take suitable precautions
