Getting Irregular Periods Post Delivery. What Should Be Done?

Hello Doctor,

I am Rani from India. I delivered a girl baby by March 2012 and the baby expired due to high BP the very next day. It was sudden death. After that, I had my periods after one month from the date of delivery. Then, I got regular periods for 6 months. I gained weight after delivery. After 6 months, I am getting periods once in two months, till now. Also, I haven't conceived after that. Can you suggest me what to do?

OB & GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hi Rani,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist for proper examination and test to rule out the cause of irregular periods because irregular period may lead to no ovulation or irregular ovulation leads to difficulty in conceiving, weight gain because of this also.
Don't worry.
Everything will be fine.
Sorry for your loss.
Good luck.
