I was having rough drunk sex recently and as I was beginning to lose my erection(from being fully erect) in my partner, she slammed down very hard and I felt a sharp pain through my penis/groin area, followed by immediate swelling. The next day my penis was almost entirely black and blue, but I was able to urinate and ejaculate properly with no signs of discharge or discoloration of urine. Everything seemed to be in working condition. It has been almost 2 weeks now and the discoloration on the penis is almost all gone, but I have a sore "lump" looking mass on the right side of my penis at the base. It is also painful to gain an erection and it is actually waking me up at night about every couple hours when I wake up with erections... very painful. It also presents sort of a "dull ache" most of the time at this point. I absolutely hate going to the doctors, so my question is, is this something common during rough sex(I didn't hear a "pop", and, like I said, have no problems getting an erection(though painful), urine problems, or ejaculation problems) and will it heal eventually on its own, or is a Dr trip inevitable ?
