Hello Ramprasad...
The symptoms as mentioned by you suggest that you might be having Gastro esophageal reflux disease, which is caused by the reflux of acid from stomach to esophagus due to relaxation of the sphincter at the lower part of esophagus.
Medical management consist of taking Proton pump inhibitors like Omeprazole, Pantoprazole, etc. (which prevent acid formation in stomach)

Metoclopramide can also be used but it has some side effects on long term usage.
Surgical treatment includes Fundoplication, in which the upper part of the stomach is wrapped around the lower esophageal sphincter to strengthen the sphincter and prevent acid reflux.

Also avoid consuming irritating substances such as acidic & rich foods, caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol.
Try to sleep on the left side, or with your upper body raised.
If symptoms still persist, it will be better to consult a Gastroenterologist.
There is no need to worry...you will be fine.
Wish you a good health & speedy recovery.
Thanks & Take care.

Hi Ramprasad,
Thanks for writing your query.

In addition to the medicine you have mentioned, you should follow some precautions like :-
1. Avoid spicy/oily foods.
2. Donot miss a meal.
3. Avoid cigarette/alcohol if any.
4. Donot self medicate especially pain killers and steroids.
5. Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water.

In addition, you should take antacid gel. It will be more beneficial as it forms a protective layer over the damaged mucosa of the stomach.

Also get yourself investigated for
1. H.pylori infection.
2. Liver Function Test(LFT)
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
