Ganglion Cyst On Right Foot, Throbbing Pain, Limping On Walking. Treatment?
I had what I considered a ganglion cyst on to of right footy. Now it seek pretty much gone but I m left with some intense throbbing and aching in my foot along with sharp pains shooting up the right aide of my leg like a tight tendon . What could this be. It s hard to walk with out a limp cause the pain hurts worse with pressure on it.

Hello
welcome to health care magic
Ganglioncyst is a collection of thin, mucinous fliud arises from joint capsule or tendon...most commonly it arises in the wrist, hand, foot,
And as such it don't cause any problems except for its pressure effect on underlying tissues like pain during walking ..
Consult general surgeon or orthopedician for surgical correction..aspiration with needle helps in relieving the symptoms but it will recur in due course of time..surgical excision is the only treatment of choice..
It is done under local anesthesia,,and its just a 10 min procedure..
hope you get satisfied with my suggestion
Have a speed recovery
Thank you
