Friction Burn That Left Me With Red Blotches

I got sun burn on holiday in May last year. As my skin was flaking, I rubbed my forehead with a towel which caused a friction burn. I now have large red blotches on my face from the friction burn. Is there any way I can treat the redness on my face?

Just allow it to heal by itself. Avoid sunlight, strong soaps, cosmetics, take plenty of fluids, vitamin c. Avoid smoking. Take rest. Mild wash with soaps containing over 80%TFM are good.
Use simple tablets like Tylenol or Ibuprofen.(Follow tablet instructions). But if you are aged / Diabetic / have immune related disorders / endocrine disorders / other serious disorders, consult a doctor immediately.
