He prescribed me antibiotics for ten days. But there is no relief still the problem exists. Can u suggest some way.
Hello,
Your symptoms suggest that you are possibly suffering from strangury secondary to urethritis. You can try taking urinary antispasmodics like flavoxate and also urinary alkalinisers. Take plenty of water and you are likely to get relieved in a couple of days. Please get further advice from your doctor. Take care.
Hello and thanks for the query
May I know your age and gender? Lots depend on that. If you are a male and above 40 than there is possibility of Prostatitis. Other reasons are Kidney infection and dehydration. In addition to antibiotic you also need a proper alkalizer to reduce burning sensation and take a plenty of water. Also want some more detail to get to a diagnosis:
1. Is their any fever or weakness?
2. Presence of blood in urine or not?
3. Does you feel any obstruction in passing urine?
4. Any history of Kidney disease?
Hope you will get back soon and I will able to give a more detailed answer.
Best Wishes
