Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
From the symptoms it seems that your father might have enlarge prostate.
But as there is h/o cancer of lungs, chances of having secondary in prostate is likely.
So as they have advised Urofowmetry, is correct line of investigation.
consult urologist and get examinred and after all investigations they will come to diagnosis and there will be treatment accordingly.
Ok and bye.
